What do we do when we no longer trust that laws will keep us safe? How do we act with integrity when governments become chaotic? How do we know what “facts” are true? At what point do we break rules, challenge authority, risk everything?

These questions lie at the heart of Mrs. Stern Wanders the Prussian State Library. Set against the backdrop of impending fascism, it challenges us to hone our moral imaginations. It reminds us that there’s a difference between doing what’s “right” and doing what’s right. It reminds us that sometimes the most dangerous thing is to do our job well.
